Turning a standard travel page into a playful adventure that drives clicks and confidence
The Problem
ExploreMore, a travel company specializing in off-the-beaten-path adventures, wanted a landing page that inspires curiosity and builds trust.
The original concept looked generic and failed to grab attention — users couldn’t immediately see why ExploreMore was different. With travel platforms blending, they needed a design that stands out, reassures, and converts.
The Solution
We redesigned the experience around interaction, nostalgia, and play:
Introduced an interactive controller inspired by retro video games to grab attention.
Added an adventure meter that gamifies trip intensity and boosts clarity.
Simplified packages into customizable booking options to reduce decision fatigue.
Showcased real tour guides and safety info to build trust and credibility.
Designed a retro-style UI with bold colors, pixel typography, and subtle animations for emotional impact.
Ran A/B tests and usability sessions to refine calls-to-action and micro-interactions.
The result is a landing page that merges nostalgia with usability, creating an interactive journey that excites and reassures at the same time.
Sweet Results
User engagement increased by 70% during testing, thanks to the gamified interface.
Click-through rates improved by 40% after the CTA was repositioned.
After testing, 87% of users expressed interest in the “ExploreMore Duo” package.
The concept was praised internally for its originality and fresh approach to travel design.
This project shows how gamification and storytelling can transform even a simple booking page into a memorable experience — the kind of impact we craft at MotionLolli.
